| Lot 66 | Worksplates (Steam)NBL 24790, 1942 (48207)A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE CO, HYDE PARK WORKS, No 24790, 1942, from a LMS Class 8F 2-8-0 No 8207 which became BR 48207. Allocated new to Nottingham on 24 July 1942 and later Crewe South, Shrewsbury, Bletchley and Stoke from where it was withdrawn on 4 July 1965 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Great Bridge. Cast brass, 7¾" diameter, the lettering well polished. £150-300 |
