Cabside Numberplates

SAR 3357, 19D
A South African Railways cabside numberplate, 3357, from a 3ft 6ins gauge Class 19D 4-8-2 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 26077, in 1948. A versatile Class, they were one of the last steam types to see regular use in South Africa. Cast brass, 20½"x14¾", the front repainted. £200-350
