| Lot 54 | NameplatesWestol HallA nameplate, WESTOL HALL, from a (GWR) 6959 Modified Hall Class 4-6-0 No 7925 built at Swindon in October 1950 and named after a large farm eight miles east of Worcester which nowadays hosts autograss race meetings. Allocated new to Penzance where it spent nine years and later Cardiff Canton, Cardiff East Dock, Ebbw Junction and Oxford from where it was withdrawn on 31 December 1965 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Newport. £2500-4000 |
