LNER 4845, Darlington 1932
A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 4845, DARLINGTON, 1932, from a LNWER J39 Class 0-6-0 No 1480 built at Darlington in November 1932, renumbered 4845 in 1946, becoming BR 64845. A long time Starbeck engine, it spent its final days at Thornaby from where it was withdrawn in July 1961 and cut up at Cowlairs Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", ex loco condition. £150-300
