Signal Box Nameboards

Instow, (BR(W)
A BR(W) signal box nameboard, INSTOW, (f/f), from the Barnstaple Junction to Torrington branch which closed in 1966. The Western Region took over the former Southern routes west of Exeter in the early 1950s during which time Instow was re-signed, together with Morthoe and Kings Nympton. Enamel, 54"x16", good colour but some edge chipping and rust. (see following lot) £400-600
 This lot sold for £720 to bidder number 9200.
