| Lot 56 | Smokeboxes42076A smokebox numberplate, 42076, from a (LMS) Class 4 2-6-4T built at Brighton and allocated new to Dover on 9 December 1950. Its later sheds were Bangor, Shoeburyness and Trafford Park from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 18 March 1967 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Great Bridge. Repainted, the BR(S) triangle cast in the back. £300-500 |
