| Lot 16 | Loco and Rolling StockMashonaland Smokebox RoundelA smokebox monogram roundel, MR in ornate interwoven initials, from a Mashonaland Railway engine (a financial constituent of Rhodesia Railways which had certain locos allotted to it for accounting reasons up until the 1920s). Probably off 8th class Nos 73-76 or 9th class 80-91 or 111-116 which all carried Mashonaland Railway Co Ltd cabside noumberplates. Cast brass, 11" diameter, the front lightly polished and repainted. £150-300 |
