| Lot 12 | Cabside NumberplatesSAR 1515, 12A South African Railways cabside numberplate, 1515, from a 3ft 6ins gauge Class 12 4-8-2 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 20817, in 1915. The class was the first new design originating from the SAR after its formation and was designed for goods traffic, mainly coal trains. All were withdrawn during the 1980s. Cast brass, 20½"x14¼", the front repainted. £250-400 |
