| Lot 16 | Worksplates (Steam)Hudswell Clarke, 1502, 1923A worksplate HUDSWELL, CLARKE, 1502, 1923, from a standard gauge 0-6-0T new to Samuel Fox & Co. Ltd, Stocksbridge Ironworks, Yorkshire West Riding as No 14. Later designated as the locomotive for operating the Stocksbridge Railway between the steelworks and the exchange sidings with BR and carried plates to that effect. Withdrawn and scrapped around 1958. Engraved brass, 12¾"x8¼", the front lightly polished. £150-300 |
