| Lot 432 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 2935, from the 2900 Saint Class 4-6-0 CAYNHAM COURT built at Swindon in November 1911 and named after the Court three miles from Ludlow. Just surviving into BR days, it was withdrawn from Swindon on 13 December 1948 and cut up at the nearby Works in the four weeks ending 18 June 1949. Cast brass, the front repainted. £1500-2000 |
