| Lot 414 | A smokebox numberplate, 78039, from a BR Standard Class 2 2-6-0 built at Darlington and allocated new to Rhyl on 25 November 1954. Its later sheds were Widnes, Willesden, Nuneaton and Shrewsbury from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 1 October 1966 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Newport, entering their yard on 10 January 1967. Ex loco condition. £500-800 |
