| Lot 180 | A worksplate, GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY, DONCASTER, 758, 1898, from a GNR Class C2 4-4-2T No 1014, LNER C12 Class No 4014, which was renumbered 7353 in 1946, becoming BR 67353. At Copley Hill by January 1935, its later sheds were Ardsley and Hull Botanic Gardens from where it was withdrawn on 12 April 1955 and subsequently scrapped. Cast brass, 10¾"x6½", the front repainted. £500-800 |
