Nameplates
Pallah
A nameplate, PALLAH, from a LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 No 1025 built at Darlington, Works No 2005, in April 1947 and named after a type of red South African antelope. It became BR 61025. A long time Tweedmouth engine, it was withdrawn from there on 3 December 1962 and cut up at Darlington Works. Cast brass, length 42¾", the front repainted. £5000-7000
