| Lot 390 | A smokebox numberplate 78046 from a BR Standard Class 2 2-6-0 built at Darlington and allocated new on 20 October 1955 to Hawick where it spent all its working life until moving to Bathgate in January 1964 with a final three months at St Margarets from where it was withdrawn on 19 November 1966 and sold for scrap to Arnott Young at Old Kilpatrick. The front repainted. £400-600 |
