Lot 29 A worksplate, SHARP STEWART, 4314, 1897, from a South Eastern Railway O Class 0-6-0 No 437 built in October 1897, becoming part of the South Eastern & Chatham Railway in January 1899. Rebuilt and re-classified to O1 Class in March 1914, it became SR 1437 and BR 31437. Just surviving into BR service, it was withdrawn from Tonbridge in the week ending 23 October 1948 and cut up at Ashford Works. Cast brass, 9¾"x6", the front repainted. £200-350
