| Lot 219 | A nameplate SIR HENRY JOHNSON from Class 86 E3117, later 86227, built at Doncaster works in July 1965 and delivered to Crewe Electric depot. Named at Euston station in March 1981 after the chairman of BRB (1968 to 1971). Plates removed in 2002 when the loco was renamed GOLDEN JUBILEE; withdrawn and cut up by Ron Hull Jnr in Rotherham during 2005. Cast aluminium, 63" long, in ex loco condition. £900-1200 |
