| Lot 144 | A worksplate, No 2099, DONCASTER, 1951, from a LMS Class 4 2-6-0 No 43154 allocated new to Melton Constable on 14 December 1951 where it worked on the Midland & Great Northern Joint Line. It moved in March 1959 to Boston and later Lincoln and Colwick from where it was withdrawn on 26 December 1964 and sold for scrap to Slag Reduction at Rotherham. Engraved brass, 12¼"x6½", the front lightly cleaned. £250-400 |
