| Lot 389 | A smokebox numberplate, 43846, from a Midland Railway 3835 Class 0-6-0 built at Derby in 1917, becoming LMS Class 4F with the same number and BR 43846. It spent its early BR days at Gloucester and later Burton, Trafford Park, St Albans, Nottingham and Leicester from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 24 June 1961 and cut up at Derby Works. The front repainted. £250-400 |
