| Lot 96 | A worksplate, YORKSHIRE ENGINE Co, 2220, 1928, from a LNER N2/3 Class 0-6-2T No 2682 built in September 1928, renumbered 9588 in 1946, becoming BR 69588. Allocated to Hatfield by January 1948, it spent its BR days alternating between there and Kings Cross. Withdrawn from Hatfield on 29 February 1960, it was cut up at Stratford Works. Cast brass, 11"X6", in ex loco condition. £300-500 |
