| Lot 458 | A worksplate, No 2094 DONCASTER 1951, from a (LMS) Class 4 2-6-0 No 43149 allocated new to Melton Constable on 24 October 1951. Its later sheds included Stratford, Cambridge, Lincoln and Langwith Junction from where it was withdrawn on 14 November 1965 and sold for scrap to Cox & Danks of Wadsley Bridge. Cast brass, 12½"x6½", in ex loco condition with delivery label to Central Stores Peterborough still attached. £350-500 |
