| Lot 164 | A smokebox numberplate, 48113, from a LMS Class 8F 2-8-0 No 8113 built at Crewe and allocated new to Warwick on 7 March 1939. In November 1941 it moved to Royston where it spent the remainder of its working life. Withdrawn on 2 October 1967, it was cut up by Drapers at Hull in the week ending 17 February 1968. Repainted. £250-400 |
