| Lot 430 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 6163, from a 6100 Class 2-6-2T built at Swindon in October 1935. Allocated to Reading by January 1948, it moved in 1955 to Swindon and later Bristol Bath Road, Oxford, Old Oak Common and Southall from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 25 September 1965 and despatched for scrap to Birds Commercial Motors at Risca on 30 November 1965. Cast iron, in ex loco condition. £250-400 |
