| Lot 362 | A smokebox numberplate, 90351, from a War Department Austerity 2-8-0 built to Ministry of Supply order by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 25151, in August 1944, WD No 77280. It was placed in store until purchased by BR in December 1949 when it was allocated to Farnley Junction and later Mirfield, Low Moor, Wakefield and Normanton from where it was withdrawn on 22 September 1967 and sold for scrap to Arnott Young at Parkgate and Rawmarsh. Repainted. £250-400 |
