| Lot 151 | A smokebox numberplate, 2841, from a GWR 2800 Class 2-8-0 built at Swindon in October 1912. Allocated to Aberdare by January 1948, its later sheds included Shrewsbury, Oxley, Reading and Southall from where it was withdrawn on 16 December 1963 and sold for scrap to Hayes at Bridgend on 27 October 1964. Repainted. £200-300 |
