| Lot 75 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 7788, from a 5700 Class 0-6-0PT built by Armstrong Whitworth, Works No 1144, in December 1930. A long time Reading engine, it moved to Gloucester in 1960 and in February 1962 to Stourbridge from where it was withdrawn the following 7 July and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Great Bridge on 17 September 1962. Cast brass, the front repainted. £250-400 |
