| Lot 446 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 7303, from a 43XX Class 2-6-0 built by Robert Stephenson & Co, Works No 3835, in January 1922. Allocated to Gloucester by January 1948, its later sheds included St Philips Marsh, Weymouth and Taunton from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 5 September 1964 and sold for scrap to Birds Commercial Motors at Morriston on the following 14 October. Cast iron, in ex loco condition. £300-500 |
