| Lot 394 | An LMS smokebox numberplate, 16690, from a LMS Class 3F 0-6-0T built by Beardmore, Works No 355, in 1928. It was renumbered 7607 in 1934 and became BR 47607. Allocated to Gloucester LM in 1948, it moved in 1955 to Normanton and in 1958 to York from where it was withdrawn on 30 January 1961 and cut up at Crewe Works by 24 February 1961. The front repainted; the Crewe casting numbers on the back. £500-800 |
