| Lot 149 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 6657, from a 5600 Class 0-6-2T built by Armstrong Whitworth, Works No 945, in August 1928. A long time Leamington engine, it moved in 1960 to Barry and later Tondu and Radyr from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 12 June 1965 and sold for scrap to T.W. Ward at Briton Ferry on 28 July 1965. Cast brass, in ex loco condition. £350-500 |
