| Lot 339 | A smokebox numberplate, 92244, from a BR Standard Class 9F 2-10-0 built at Crewe and allocated new to Ebbw Junction on 28 October 1958. Its later sheds were Old Oak Common, Cardiff Canton, Cardiff East Dock, Ebbw Junction, Severn Tunnel Junction and Gloucester Horton Road from where it was withdrawn on 31 December 1965 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Newport on 11 February 1966. Repainted. £600-900 |
