| Lot 331 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 3830, from a 2884 Class 2-8-0 built at Swindon in November 1940. A long time Ebbw Junction engine, it was withdrawn from there on 3 June 1965 and sold for scrap to George Cohen at Morriston on 28 July 1965. Cast brass, the front repainted. £450-700 |
