| Lot 283 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 4147, from a 5101 Class 2-6-2T built at Swindon in September 1946. Allocated to Tyseley by January 1948, its later sheds included Oxford, Kidderminster and Stourbridge, returning for a final three months to Tyseley from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 2 October 1965 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Great Bridge on 18 December 1965. Cast iron, repainted. £350-500 |
