| Lot 175 | A smokebox numberplate, 42662, from a LMS Class 4 2-6-4T No 2662 built at Derby and allocated new to Ardrossan on 10 June 1941. Its later sheds included Stoke, Patricroft and Southport from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 12 December 1964 and despatched for scrap to T.W. Ward at Beighton on 10 June 1965. Ex loco condition. £300-500 |
