| Lot 125 | A smokebox numberplate, 45232, from a LMS Class 5 4-6-0 built by Armstrong Whitworth, Works No 1287, and allocated new to Edge Hill on 13 August 1936. Its later sheds included Newton Heath, where it spent over twenty years, Burton and Birkenhead from where it was withdrawn on 5 November 1967 and subsequently scrapped. The front repainted. £300-500 |
