| Lot 53 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 5752, from a 5700 Class 0-6-0PT built at Swindon in April 1929. A long time Didcot engine, it was withdrawn from there on 24 February 1957 and sold to the London Transport Executive, becoming their No L91. Withdrawn by LT in 1960 and subsequently scrapped, it was replaced as L91 by 5757 of the same class. Cast iron, the front repainted. £300-500 |
