Locos built by the LMS at Crewe in 1933 were Class 5 2-6-0 Nos 2945-57/60/63 which became BR 42945-57/60/63, Class 6P Patriot 4-6-0 Nos 5517-9/23/24/29-32/36-41 which became BR 45517-9/23/24/29-32/36-41 and the first two Princess Royal Class 8P 4-6-2 Nos 6200/1 which became BR 46200/1, so a good chance this plate is from a named loco. Cast brass, 10½"x6", in ex loco condition. £250-400 |
