| Lot 394 | A single line key token, THETFORD WEST-BARNHAM, (brass/steel) from the Bury St Edmunds to Thetford branch which closed to passengers in 1953 and freight in 1960. A unique transfer key to hold four standard tokens which would be sent to the box at the opposite end of the section, correcting an imbalance of tokens between the two instruments. Cast brass, length 9 1/2". £300-500 |
