| Lot 376 | A worksplate, NOHAB, 1860, of 1931 is from a Turkish State Rlys (TCDD) standard gauge 2-8-0 No 45.029, one of a class of 62 locos based on an enlarged Prussian G8. Nohab (Nydqvist Och Holm Actie Bolaget) got a contract from the Turkish Government to supply most of the equipment for the line south from Sivas, built in the late 1920s, and the class worked there until withdrawal in the 1980s. Cast brass, 12"x6", the front lightly cleaned. £250-400 |
