| Lot 372 | A worksplate ENGLISH ELECTRIC/VF 3318/817 1963, from Class 37 D6843, later 37143 and 37800. New to Cardiff Canton in May 1963; it was renumbered 37800 and named GLO CYMRU in September 1986 at Aberthaw Power station. This replacement plate was fitted at Crewe Works in 1964 when one cab was completely rebuilt following major collision damage. The loco is now owned by Europhenix and on hire to ROG at Leicester. Chromed cast brass, 10"x4 1/2", ex loco condition. The corners square as opposed to the original on which they were rounded. £400-600 |
