| Lot 328 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 2291, from a 2251 Class 0-6-0 built at Swindon in February 1938. Allocated to Carmarthen by January 1948, it spent most of its BR days at Gloucester and Swindon, moving briefly at the end to Worcester from where it was withdrawn on 28 September 1964 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Great Bridge on 11 January 1965. Cast iron, the front repainted. £400-600 |
