| Lot 311 | A worksplate, EVANS, ANDERSON & PHELAN, BRISBANE, 152, 1917, from a Queensland Government Railways 3'6" gauge Class C16 4-8-0 No 21, delivered to QGR in June 1917. EAP built engines for Queensland Railways at a non rail connected factory at Kangaroo Point, near Brisbane. In 1949 it received a new boiler which lasted until the engine was withdrawn in March 1963. Cast brass, 14¾"x8", the front repainted. £300-400 |
