| Lot 175 | A South African Railways cabside numberplate 2577, from a 3ft 6ins gauge Class GO 4-8-2+2-8-4 Garratt built by Henschel, Works No 28710, in 1954. A smaller version of the Class GMA Garratts, the GOs were much less successful and all were withdrawn by 1975. Cast brass, 20¾"x14¾", the front repainted. £500-800 |
