| Lot 64 | An East African Railways locomotive numberplate, 2424, from a metre gauge 4-8-0 built by Vulcan Foundry, Works No 3791, in 1925 for Uganda Railway, their GD Class No 185. In 1926 it became part of Kenya-Uganda Railway still as No 185. On the formation of East African Railways in 1948 it became their Class 24 No 2424. Cast brass, 17"x6¼", the front repainted. £100-200 |
