| Lot 332 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 6344, from a 53XX Class 2-6-0 built at Swindon in March 1923. Allocated to Carmarthen by January 1948 and later Chester WR, Weymouth and Gloucester WR from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 9 November 1963 and sold for scrap to Hayes at Bridgend on 29 January 1964. Cast iron, the front repainted. £350-500 |
