| Lot 349 | A worksplate, YORKSHIRE ENGINE Co, 2474, 1949, from a 0-4-0ST new to the National Coal Board at Wombwell Main Colliery, Wombwell, Yorkshire West Riding, named YORK No 1. Later worked at several other collieries in the area, ending up at South Kirkby. Sold September 1975 to the Yorkshire Dales Railway, Embsay, North Yorkshire for preservation where it still resides. Cast brass, 11"x6", in ex loco condition. £150-250 |
