| Lot 288 | A worksplate, VULCAN FOUNDRY, 1883, 1903, from a Great Central Railway Class 9K 4-4-2T No 1064, LNER C13 Class No 6064, built in June 1903, renumbered 7409 in 1946, becoming BR 67409. A long time Barnsley GC engine, it was withdrawn from there on 4 December 1956 and cut up at Gorton Works in the week ending 26 January 1957. Cast brass, 9¾"x5¾", the front repainted. £300-500 |
