| Lot 170 | A worksplate, L&NER, 1762, 1918, from a Great Northern Railway Class H3 2-6-0 No 1671 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 21982, in June 1918. It became LNER K2 Class No 4671 and was renumbered 1761 in 1946, becoming BR 61761. Allocated to Stratford by January 1948, its later sheds included Lincoln GN, Darnall and Kings Cross from where it was withdrawn on 19 January 1961 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front lightly cleaned but unpainted. £150-300 |
