| Lot 477 | A worksplate, W.G. BAGNALL LTD, No 2785, from a War Department Austerity 0-6-0ST No 75262 built by Bagnall in September 1945 and stored new at Longmoor. It was taken into LNER stock in June 1946, becoming their Class J94 No 8051 and later BR 68051. At Darlington by January 1948 and later Newport NER, York North and West Hartlepool, returning at the end to Darlington from where it was withdrawn on 29 June 1964 and sold for scrap to M. Baum at Middlesbrough. Cast brass, 8"x5½", in ex loco condition. £150-300 |
