| Lot 442 | A worksplate, ARMSTRONG WHITWORTH, 1357, 1937, from a LMS Class 5 4-6-0 No 5302 which became BR 45302. Allocated new to Edge Hill on 4 January 1937, its later sheds included Patricroft, Northampton, Tyseley and Stoke from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 22 July 1967 and despatched for scrap to George Cohen at Kettering on 3 November 1967. Cast brass, 8¼"x5", the front lightly cleaned. £150-300 |
