| Lot 373 | A worksplate, NEILSON REID, 5826, 1900, from a 3ft 6ins gauge South African Railways Class 7B 4-8-0 No 1055, originally Imperial Military Railways No 119 and then Central South Africa Railways No 384 and Natal Government Railways No 327. In South African Railways' service the 7 Class series worked all over the country the last being withdrawn in 1972. Cast brass, 9"x6½", the front repainted. £300-500 |
