| Lot 196 | A smokebox numberplate, 6135, from a GWR 6100 Class 2-6-2T built at Swindon in October 1932. A long time Old Oak Common engine, it moved in August 1964 to Reading and then Southall and Oxford from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 18 December 1965 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Newport on 17 February 1966. In ex loco condition, retaining its original bolts. £300-500 |
